Bio:
Colleen H. Clements, PhD, is a lecturer in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Minnesota. Her research focuses on the intersection of social class and racialized identity and the sociology of education. Her teaching interests are in the areas of social class and education, critical social foundations, and anti-racist pedagogy and leadership. Her most recent research draws on her experience in theater, and is centered on the ways in which historical narratives and discourses continue to shape the current conditions in which families and communities live.
