Christen Clifford I ChristenClifford.info.

Christen is a mother, writer, feminist artist, actor, part time faculty at The New School, and a curator at Dixon Place. She has been the grateful recipient of residencies at The Museum of Motherhood. Her work is included in the books The M Word: Real Mothers in Contemporary Art, Maternal Journal #2, and the NYT bestselling anthology Women in Clothes. She recently made her first art book, BabyLove, a 4 color risograph co-published with Project for Empty Space, which has recently been acquired by the Library of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Recent installation includes I Want Your Blood in Abortion is Normal at Gallerie Eva Presenhuber (written about in Artforum, ArtNet, artnews, Daily Beast, Breitbart) and Interiors: We Are All Pink Inside in Incision at PES and in Curriculum at Elizabeth Foudation for the Arts. In 2021 she received grants from Newark Artists Accelerator, Creative Catalyst, and she is a member of The New York Artist Corps. She is working on her first film.
